Aquaforest Fluorine

0 out of 5

Aquaforest Fluorine is a highly concentrated fluoride supplement designed to support healthy coral growth and enhance colouration in reef aquariums. Fluoride is an important micronutrient naturally found in seawater, where it plays a key role in the calcification process and the development of strong coral skeletons. In closed aquarium systems, fluoride is gradually removed through protein skimming and filtration media, making regular supplementation essential for maintaining optimal levels.

By replenishing fluoride, Aquaforest Fluorine helps strengthen skeletal tissue and supports the structural integrity of corals. It is particularly effective in enhancing the blue and white colouration of SPS corals, while also improving overall fluorescence across a wide range of coral species. The formula also contains trace amounts of potassium and iodine, contributing to a more balanced and complete supplementation approach.

Dosage:
Dose 1 drop per 100 litres (27 US gallons) of aquarium water daily.
1 ml of Fluorine (approximately 15 drops) added to 100 litres increases fluoride levels by 0.06 ppm and iodine by 0.015 ppm.

As every aquarium is unique, dosing may vary depending on coral density and individual system requirements. The recommended fluoride level in a marine aquarium is approximately 1.3 ppm.
