Tropica Bucephalandra pygmaea 'Bukit Kelam'

0 out of 5

In nature, Bucephalandra usually grows on rocks or wood in rivers and streams - much like Anubias, which they resemble regarding use and care in the aquarium. Bucephalandra 'Wavy Green' is an easy, slow-growing plant that prefers lower light levels. A nice, dense appearance is ensured by the willingness to branch, even without trimming. The green leaves are 2 cm wide and 5 cm long with wavy edges. Tiny white spots will appear on immerse leaves. The creeping stem, rhizome, must not be covered when planting. This will cause the plant to rot and die.

Anubias Barteri

0 out of 5

The Anubias barteri plant is a very popular plant in the aquarium hobby due to its visual appeal and how easy it is to care for.  This plant will grow in just about any type of lighting, but its leaves grow more quickly and densely under high-intensity lighting.  Anubias barteri can tolerate just about any type of water hardness and pH levels; however, it tends to do best in soft water with a pH of 6.5 to 7.5.  It can also grow in a wide range of water temperatures, but we recommend keeping it in water that is anywhere from 72° to 82° F for the best growth results.
