Feeder / Cull Shrimp are hardy, active freshwater shrimp that make excellent starter invertebrates or natural live food for predatory fish. Perfect for community tanks, they add movement and help with tank cleanliness while also serving as nutritious feeders. You’ll receive a mix of colors or possibly a single shade of lower-grade shrimp, sometimes including ghost or feeder types. These shrimp are not bred for quality or colour but are ideal for cycling tanks, feeding larger fish, or adding natural activity to your aquarium.
Kuekenthalis Cleaner Shrimp
Kuekenthal’s Cleaner Shrimp (Lysmata kuekenthali) is an attractive reef invertebrate known for its striking red striping and useful role in marine aquariums. It helps scavenge leftover food, may clean parasites from fish, and is known to assist in controlling nuisance Aiptasia anemones, especially when kept in small groups.
Peaceful and reef-friendly in most systems, this shrimp thrives in stable marine aquariums with plenty of live rock and hiding places.
