💡 Lighting & Flow Requirements

Bam Bams do best under moderate to high blue spectrum lighting, where their vivid fluorescence really shines. While they’ll tolerate a range of light conditions, placing them in moderate PAR zones (80–150) encourages optimal growth and colouration.

Provide moderate, indirect flow to keep detritus off the colony and promote polyp extension. Too much flow may cause the polyps to close up, so avoid direct blasts.

🍽 Feeding & Growth

Although they are photosynthetic and can survive on light alone, Bam Bams will benefit from regular feeding. Feedings can encourage faster growth and more vibrant colours.

Recommended foods include:

• Finely powdered coral food

Zoanthids contain palytoxin, a highly toxic compound. Always handle with gloves, eye protection, and proper ventilation—especially during fragging or dips.
